Kinda reminds me of a mix of the new mini and an old Sprite

If I ever need cheering up, I’ll have to come back to this post and remind myself of how happy this mower is

The Sprite mini comparison is pretty much spot on, but I see more 1st gen picanto than new mini myself

I don’t think they made it to the US, so I doubt many people have haha. Based on what I've heard from people who've driven them, you aren't missing out on much

I think it comes down to expectations with economy cars. If you expect more than what they can give then you'll be unhappy. But, if you know it'll be slow and not have much it frees you to have fun in other ways or at least not hate it most of the time.

Yeah, definitely. Personally, I’m a sucker for cheap slow cars. Despite what I’ve heard, I’d still like a go in a picanto just because it’s light and I wouldn’t have to worry much about it getting damaged. I've noticed that some people go into a cheap car expecting Mercedes levels of quality, so they're bound to be disappointed.

I’d love to commute in something like a Picanto but given the average intelligence of the American driver I’m more confident in my ton-and-a-half of highly engineered Swedish steel with plenty of inflatable cushions should things go all pear-shaped as they are wont to do on our expressways.
